What a great year this is going to turn out to be for Conservatives all across this country! While I wouldn’t exactly tout the Massachusetts election of Scott Brown as a great victory for Conservatives – I would say this is a great step in the right direction.
The ACP of Florida Development Committee is currently in the process of registering as an official party within the state – which we hope to accomplish by the end of February – and – we are currently putting together a candidate questionnaire to get out to the various candidates throughout the state.
Once the questionnaire has been developed – we will publish it here. Once we have sent those questionnaires out to everyone – we will also publish our results and begin to make endorsement announcements of those individuals in Florida whom we feel best represents Conservatism and would best represent we Floridians.

The state development committee continues to meet via conference call on a bi-weekly basis. As such, we are slowly, but surely, making some progress as we grow the party here in Florida.
As stated in an earlier post, ACP Florida will be looking to start developing local groups and chapters. Next on the agenda for the development committee will be to start contacting existing members to start organizing those meetings. If you have joined as a member of the ACP of Florida through the main ACP website, and if you have provided contact information, you may expect to receive some correspondence shortly.
Given this is the holiday season, the likelihood of anything coming out in December is slim to nothing. We can expect to begin seeing real movements in the party beginning in January. However, be rest assured there is still activity going on behind the scenes.

As we build local chapters we will be listing them here on this website along with contacts for those chapters. Additionally, we will put up a calendar to let you know when and were those local meetings will be held.
