Annual Scientific Meeting
The chapter's flagship event: clinical updates, abstract competitions, and statewide networking.
The chapter's flagship event
Once a year the Florida Chapter gathers in one place. The Annual Scientific Meeting is where the chapter's clinical education, its abstract and poster competitions and its awards all land on the same few days, and it is the one occasion on which internists from every corner of the state are reliably in the same room.
The programme is built by the Education Committee around what practising internists in Florida are contending with now. Alongside it, residents and medical students present their work to faculty judges, and the chapter confers its annual awards.
Details for the next meeting (dates, venue, programme, registration and abstract deadlines) are published here and on the chapter's events calendar as soon as they are confirmed. Nothing about the next meeting is announced on this page before it is settled.
